The Saints B-Grade team thumped the United Sisters with a dominant 15-3 win in round 3 of the Port Moresby Women’s Softball Association (POMWSA) on Saturday, February 8th, 2025, at Softball Diamonds.
The Saints lost two games already but rose to the challenge over the weekend and pulled off a convincing victory over the United Sisters, registering their first win of the season.
The girls in purple found their groove and belted the full-strength United Sisters throughout the four innings of the match, and hope to continue their winning streak this weekend.
Coach Addie Amos mentioned that the team comprises young and experienced players, praising the girls for their solid performance, but admitted that there was still room for improvement.
“Our Saints B-Grade team is made up of new, old and a few seasoned players. Their performance today was good,” Addie said.
“Though they were new, they played well. We just need to polish up on a few areas and be better in our next couple of games.”
