The Prime Minister and National Executive Council (PM & NEC) held off the fast-finishing National Capital District Commission (NCDC) with a 15-8 win in the Public Servants Netball Association (PSNA) Division 3 Grand Final on Saturday, March 1st, 2025, at Sir John Guise Stadium Indoor Complex.
The eventual champions (PM & NEC) exerted their dominance in the first half and took a comfortable 8-3 lead over the NCDC ladies.
In the second half, the PM & NEC-sponsored side tightened their grip and scored 8 more goals to defeat the courageous NCDC women with a 15-8 victory.
PM & NEC captain Ravu Tau said they were able to snatch the championship because of their height and speed, praising her teammates for the job well done.
“I would like to congratulate my girls who played very well and showed good performance on the court. We had the advantage on height and speed, so we easily dominated the court,” Ravu said.
The PM & NEC team have had an incredible season in division 3, finishing strong on the standings and stamping their authority to walk away with the prized silverware and get promoted to division 2 next season.
“Our focus for next season is to maintain the commitment, effort, and performance. We are looking forward to next year in division 2,” Ravu added.
