The La Salle Secondary School hosted its inaugural Inter-School Carnival on Friday, July 19, 2024, at Sir John Guise Stadium.

Since the school’s existence almost thirty years ago, it has never held any inter-school carnival sports program.

There were six teams who represented their respective house colors and competed in six different sports - soccer 7s, touch 7s, and volleyball - as well as track and field events (100m & 200m sprints and relay).

The winners of each sporting event were recognized with small awards or prizes after the conclusion of the one-day school carnival.

La Salle Secondary School Sports Coordinator, Scott Kini, was happy to oversee the first ever inter-school carnival sports event alongside his colleagues.

“This was the first ever school carnival for La Salle Technical Secondary School. It has never happened before in the thirty-year history of the school. We were pleased that the event has ended on a positive note. We all had a memorable day,” Mr. Kini said.
